I have about ten years of overall teaching experience. Most of my previous experience in education was in college administration. I realized I enjoyed teaching more than attending meetings, so I made the move to full-time teaching. I've been at Vertus for over five years and love teaching here.
What is your philosophy as a teacher?
I am a "warm demander" who believes it is my responsibility to set high standards for myself and my students. I challenge students to think critically, and push themselves, but I also provide support and the unflinching belief that they can be successful.

Who are you outside of Vertus?
I am an endlessly curious introvert with a passion for writing, reading, and the great outdoors.
