Dr. Gerald Ardito Shares Positive Feedback from Vertus Visit
Pace University School of Education professor Dr. Gerald Ardito, who worked on the initial design of Vertus before it opened, came to visit for a day in March to see how the plan for Vertus has become a reality. He left with very positive impressions and shared some reflections in a letter with our staff. Some highlights:
“I left my visit with two kinds of impressions. The first was in the quality of the teachers and Preceptors. I observed several interactions between the students and these adults. Every single one was marked by respect, professionalism, and a deep caring to serve the students. This was true everywhere I looked, from checking in the boys at breakfast, to interactions in the hallways, to classroom sessions. What an amazing background for the work of learning.”
